Meet Emilio Jarufe, Director of Music and Choirs
Tell us about yourself and your family.
I am a native of Northeast, Ohio. I grew up in North Olmsted, and still reside there today.
What do you like most about the United Methodist Church of Macedonia?
The inviting nature of the congregation and the value that is placed on music.
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
Riding motorcycles, full time director (see bio), live sound engineering.
What is your favorite book, movie or song?
My favorite choral song is "Sleep" by Eric Whitacre, and the Mozart Requiem.
What are two items on your bucket list?
To complete a 4,000-mile motorcycle ride of the east coast, and to continue to grow the music program at the United Methodist Church of Macedonia.
