Women’s Bible Study at UMC of Macedonia
The Chosen – Season 4

The 2024 Fall Bible Study is a continuation of the thought-provoking series from “The Way of the Chosen”, from the groundbreaking series about the life of Jesus.   Season 4 continues with Jesus’ life while on earth as he preaches God’s word and takes care of his people.

The study is written by Amanda Jenkins, Dallas Jenkins, and Douglas S. Huffman.   The videos are directed by Dallas Jenkins.    Season 4 teaches participants how to reframe their hardships and see them as fertile soil for God’s goodness to grow in their lives.  The Bible gives many examples of how God brings good things out of bad things for the sake of His people and for His glory.  However, when we personally experience suffering, we have a difficult time believing it.  Life is challenging for the followers of Jesus, and hardships we experience in the 21st century are no exception.  God’s Goodness as shown in The Chosen Season 4 take participants through each session revealing how God uses suffering to bring about good things in the lives of those He loves.

Being chosen by Jesus has beautiful and far-reaching implications such as there is a different way to live.   Perhaps it is time that you go the way of The Chosen.   Even if you have not seen the first three seasons, you can still join us for this study.   You can watch the first three seasons via The Chosen App for free.

The study is designed for all women of the church, friends and neighbors.  All are welcome.   The study will be held on Tuesday evenings starting on September 10th at 6:30 pm at the UMC of Macedonia church in the Holbrook Room. The study will run for 8 weeks.  There is a Study Book to help guide you in your personal study but is not required.   The study guide costs $11.00.
