Workbook for the Hiding Place

The Women’s Bible Study will be using a different format for our next study.   We will be reading and discussing the book The Hiding Place by Corrie ten Boom.   The book was written 35 years ago which is a true story about the World War II occupation of Holland and the experiences of the ten Boom family, a Dutch watchmaker. 

The Hiding Place was written by Corrie ten Boom, who was the only one in her family to survive the concentration camps and became one of the most remarkable evangelists of the twentieth century.  Corrie and her family risked their lives to help Jews and underground workers escape from the Nazis.  The book is a riveting account of how Corrie and her family were able to save many of God’s chosen people.
As part of the study, we will be watching the movie on Prime Video, of the same name, which was a Bafta Film Award nominee.

The study is designed for all women of the church, friends and neighbors.  All are welcome.   The study will be held on Monday mornings starting on November 10 at 10:00 a.m. and Tuesday evenings starting on November 11 at 6:30 p.m. We will meet in the Holbrook Room at the UMC of Macedonia church. The study will run for 5 weeks.  There is a Study Book to help guide you in your personal study but is not required.   The book and study guide is $12.00 each.  You can order the book yourself via Amazon or we can order one for you.
