Meet Desiree Perry, Media Ministry Coordinator
Tell us about yourself and your family.
I was born and raised in northeastern Ohio. I'm married, have one daughter, and have been a member of the church since 2006. I hold a Bachelor's of Art in English from John Carroll University and a Master's of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University.
What do you like most about the United Methodist Church of Macedonia?
It's one of the places where I feel God the most: in the physical structure, through the people, and in the beautiful music.
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
In addition to spending time with my family, I love to read, walk, and watch PBS mysteries.
What is your favorite book, movie or song? What is your favorite bible verse or hymn?
Favorite books: To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee and There There by Tommy Orange
Favorite movie: Life is Beautiful
Favorite song: It's hard to choose just one!
Favorite bible verse: Galatians 5:22-23
Favorite hymn: I Love to Tell the Story
What are two items on your bucket list?
I would love to travel to Sicily and the British Channel Islands.
