A Message from your Stephen Ministers...
Taking Care of Myself. How can God help us? Well, today I will remember that all of the change I am going through is stressful and that I need to take particularly good care of myself in these recovery months or years. I will get extra rest. Inner growth at this accelerated rate is exhausting, and I need more rest and sleep than usual. I will simplify my life and make my day manageable, letting go of what does not really need to be accomplished and doing the basics. I need time to process the changes taking place inside of me, empty, quiet time just to watch the clouds float by. I will do things that feel particularly good to me whatever they are and I will eat well and exercise. These are challenging days, so I'll learn to be good to myself.
As Stephen Ministers, if we can guide you through the trials and tribulations of life, please contact our church office at 330-467-3169 or Andy Bell at 330-467-2184. May God continue to be with you always.

FALL RUMMAGE SALE
Our semi annual church fall rummage sale is only a short five weeks away! A select group of dedicated folks have been toiling all summer in preparation for this massive undertaking that will occur on Friday, October 8 and Saturday, October 9.
It appears this could be our largest sale ever! Our barn is starting to bulge at the seams and that is a good thing, but even more than ever, WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We need some help on any Friday morning in sorting out our treasures so they all end up in the right place and check to see that they all are in good condition. No appointment is needed, just come after 9:00 am any Friday and we can get you started. (see Rummage Univ. Sorting 101)
Your donations are always needed and welcome, especially used furniture as these items bring our greatest profits. Call the church office to arrange drop off of your donations. Friday mornings are great as the storage barn behind the church is generally open then.
We need furniture, working appliances (big and small), clothing, tools, sporting goods, knickknacks, glassware, dishes, pot and pans, linens, pictures, yard and garden items, musical instruments, antiques, toys, lamps, craft and hobby items, hardware, live plants, decorations, jewelry, automotive, books, tapes, CD's, DVD's, records and many other items. WE DO NOT TAKE: tires, desk-top computers, broken or damaged items or cranky grandchildren! We offer a receipt for possible use at income tax time.
HELP!! Please look at your calendar and see if you can help our dedicated mission committee workers raise funds for good things on these days:
Sat & Sun, October 2 and 3, helping to unload the barn and place items in their proper rooms.
Mon thru Thurs, Oct 4 -7, unpacking, pricing, placing and posturing items for sale in each room.
These activities generally go on from 9 am - 9 pm, but a delicious, free hot lunch is served each day with leftovers available in the evening.
Fri, Oct 8, 9 am until 5 pm we need salespeople, packers, cashiers and greeters.
Sat, Oct 9, 9 am until 2 pm same as Friday except the bag sale is all day!
Sat Oct 9, 2 pm until 5 pm CLEAN UP!
If you have any questions, want more information or want to volunteer, please call Julie Denker, rummage sale chairperson, at 330-963-6615.
Please seriously consider helping (and making donations) to this 71 year old tradition in our church "raising revenue through rummage." We have lots of jobs with something that everyone could do regardless of their abilities.
Thank You!! Thank You!! Thank You!!
